American Express Gold Card
This card is the gold standard (literally) for everyday living. It comes with a much lower annual fee ($250) than the AMEX Platinum card, and the fee is waived for military, like all other AMEX annual fees. Despite the lower fee level, this card still retains many premium benefits. Some of these include:
$10 per month in Uber Credit (stackable with the AMEX Platinum benefit)
$10 per month in credit for purchases at select partners, including Grubhub, The Cheesecake Factory, and more
$100 experience per year on a stay of at least two nights booked at a Fine Hotels and Resorts property through the AMEX Travel Portal
4 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent at restaurants and grocery stores, including commissaries
3 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent on flights booked with the airline or on the AMEX travel portal
